About us

ANBI status

The founding meeting took place in Maastricht at the Vrijthof 17B on 18 september 2013. It is an initiative of Dominique (Nick) Wolfs. The other participants are: Elżbieta Olbrycht, Joachim Wilbers and Massimo Wolfs.

About us

This initiative arose thanks to experiences with re-integration for people with a distance to the labour market, which showed that there are few opportunities especially in the cultural field.

Especially people who are often out of work after a long time, sometimes have the feeling to have missed opportunities; opportunities which in many cases can be translated as a lack of opportunities in the past.

At the discretion of the Foundation, too little account was and is taken of individual abilities and needs, which might be a part of the explanation for the current high absenteeism and unemployment; lethargy by the feeling to be in the wrong place, or to have choosen for the wrong life forfillment.

For this the Kultuur-Fabriek wants to make a changing contribution by offering artistic experience and training that allows reintegration on another level, and allows people to find a differentiated and meaningful spending in their search for work.
