This project was set up in collaboration with the Organization of the music project that originated in Jaworki (Poland) 12 years ago, with the aim to connect youth international by means of music.
The president and patron of the said project is Nigel Kennedy, who was at the basis of the thought that music is a limitless form of high-quality communication.
Important is that young people, regardless of their origin, can follow "clinics" that are given by professional musicians from home and abroad.
Co-founder, supervisor and tutor of this project Adrian Maruszczyk works with us to organize this initiative also in Maastricht. Meanwhile, the pilot of our first "Mosae Musica" happened in Euregional setting, on the 29th of December 2013 in the Muziekgieterij. We are very grateful to them for the support and cooperation. Further "clinics" will follow; Our aim is to organize eventually 4 of these meetings on an annual basis, with the duration of a midweek.
Lessons and concerts are given on location of the Kultuur-Fabriek and at the Muziekgieterij in Maastricht. Further, we work together with the WDR & Per-sonum (Aachen/Cologne) and Public-Peace; the Organization of the author Adrian Maruszczyk.
During "clinics", and under the guidance of professional musicians young people learn to complete their musical skills. The possibilities are: guitar (bass, electric, acoustic), vocals, piano, en percussion (drums). The clinics have the duration of a midweek.
Together with the municipality of Maastricht and the province of Limburg, we look for promotional exposure/stage in the context of Euregional cooperation.
